In this randomised, placebo-controlled trial, it was demonstrated that supplementation with a medical food including phosphatide precursors and cofactors for 12 weeks improved memory in mild Alzheimer’s disease patients and concluded that further studies in this area of research are justified by the outcomes of this proof-of-concept study.
