Kate Taylor

Experience & Bio Details
Kate Taylor is a graduate of the prestigious Institute for Optimum Nutrition, where she trained in Nutritional Therapy. She pursued this path after witnessing the heartbreaking cognitive decline of a treasured relative. That loved one sadly succumbed to Alzheimer’s Disease Dementia. This was before there was much awareness of the role diet and lifestyle could play in staving off and slowing the progression of this insidious disease.
After completing her core Nutritional Therapy training, she was inspired by her own health experiences. She went on to gain additional Practitioner qualifications in Nutritional Therapy, focusing specifically on brain health and cognitive function. She completed this through the ReCODE 2.0 Protocol, a specialist programme developed by Dr. Dale Bredesen in the United States of America. It is explicitly designed to apply cognitive impairment prevention principles. The programme also aims to halt the development, progression, or exacerbation of cognitive decline and Dementia upon diagnosis.
Kate is now dedicated to applying Functional Medicine principles to help, support, and reassure adults with cognitive impairment and decline – in particular focusing on Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. In these instances, she takes particular care to work at the pace of each individual. Her aim is to empower them to regain control over their health through personalised collaboration and meticulous Functional Medicine testing. She also provides bespoke dietary and lifestyle modifications designed to help each person achieve the very best of their ability.
“Investing in your Brain health may just be one of the wisest investments you will ever make.”
