Description – Content marketing assistant (freelance)

You would work to assist the current content marketing manager to help organised, create and publish content on the website, social media and via emails. Existing baseline knowledge of content and email marketing is needed, ideally with past professional experience in this area, but mainly someone who is a quicker learner, proactive and excited about helping us in this area.

Role

  • Helping organise all blog articles on WordPress website
  • Improving our existing social media presence and preparing to
  • A keen interest in using AI to create and organise content
  • Knowledge of email marketing
  • Able to do basic video editing (for reels, YouTube etc) and canva for visuals
  • Quicker learner and a history of being proactive and working well independently.
  • Eye for detail with excellent spelling and english grammar and being a organised systems thinker
  • Willingness to grow with the role 
  • Proactive and excited about how content marketing and social media can support our charitable mission
  • Assisting content marketing lead (Kezia) with weekly support for social media, emails and blogs.
  • Sound knowledge of nutrition in order to understand and share accurate content.
  • Check community emails are delivered on Sundays

Remote, freelance, flexible role.
Starting at 18 hours a week (split over 2-3 days) with a 8 week trial period. An increase in hours may happen in 2025 for the right candidate.

Ideal skills: Experience with WordPress, Canva, Instagram, Facebook, ChatGBT, Mailchimp.
