We are seeking a skilled database analyst to manage and refine our extensive database, ensuring high-quality data is available for both our internal research team and our external research partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our in-house research team to understand their data requirements.
- Extract data from REDCap for various research projects, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Perform data cleaning exercises to prepare datasets for in-depth analysis.
- Develop and implement data validation checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Identify and highlight potential issues or inconsistencies within the database, proposing solutions or enhancements to improve data quality.
- Stay updated with the latest REDCap features and updates, integrating new functionalities into current projects as applicable.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player, working closely with statisticians and research team members to ensure seamless extraction and cleansing of data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficient in using REDCap for data collection, management, and extraction.
- Experience in data cleaning, data validation, and preliminary statistical analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
