Can you help upgrade brains in Ireland?
If you are coming to any of Patrick’s talks in Ireland (Sligo, Galway, Ennis, Dublin, Tralee, and Cork) and are good at sales, using a card reader, and would be willing to help with registration, arriving half an hour earlier, and working in the 20-minute break, please let us know as we could do with a spare pair of hands.
We are also looking for a ‘DRIfT test coordinator’.
This is the home test kit that people use to measure their Homocysteine, HbA1c, vitamin D and omega-3. We need someone to hold a small amount of stock and send kits out to those ordering in Ireland. (So many get wrongfully held up or sent back through customs.) You’ll need to have a level of technical competency, the ability to print a label and a post office nearby. We’d send you stock in bulk then you’d send it out to individuals, having been sent the order from us electronically. We’d probably work out a price per kit, to take into account your time, postage, label etc. We need as many people as possible to get tested to help expand our research database potential – and to help them improve brain health. The customer then sends the dry blood spot card back to our lab (which is in Poland) in a stamped address envelope. We’d give you the pre-addressed envelopes.
